Eleanor Robinson, Chief Operating Officer of 7-128 Software, will be speaking on the ALERT Project at the Games for Health 2008 Conference May 7-9 in Baltimore.

Robinson's talk will focus on:

1. Where to get accessible games
2. What features to look for in accessible games
3. Suggestions for how to use accessible games in health settings
4. Who to go to for help (ALERT Accessible Games Experts)

The emphasis of the talk is upon the use of accessible games in a health or rehabilitation setting. This includes health eductation, brain training, and distraction from unpleasant or uncomforatble situations.

Also included will be a brief discussion of how the International Game Development Association / Game Accessibility Special Interest Group made the ALERT project possible.

The talk will outline the 7-128 Software Accessibility Rating System, and the importance of accessibility in game development.
