Death Nell - One of twelve Inspector Cyndi in Newport games

The Story

Nell Langtree, the Worthington’s Upstairs Maid, has been found dead in the Worthington library. There is no obvious cause, but Constable Duffy suspects foul play!

There are ten suspects. What was Townsend, the butler’s relationship with Nell? What were she and O’Brien, the horse trainer, arguing about? Our young girl players remain convinced it was Young Billy, O’Brien’s assistant.

Newport, Rhode Island in the 1890's is the summer home to the Astors, Vanderbilts, and Morgans, the Worthingtons, Statelys, and the Huffingtons.

You are a Detective with the Newport Police. Inspector Cyndi is a world famous crime solver on loan from Vienna, in the Austro-Hungarian Empire, here to assist you.

Travel around Newport questioning witnesses. Watch, and hear, Cecil Worthington play tennis at the Newport Casino. Stroll the Cliff Walk with Lady Worthington. Bother Junior Worthington at the Newport Reading Room.

Identify the Culprit, their Motive, Opportunity, and Method. Solve the crime!

The Story

In Rudyard Kipling’s book, Kim, a boy is told to memorize a set of objects.

Then the boy is challenged to remember those objects when he can no longer see the objects.

There are ten levels, each with an increasing number of objects to remember.

Of course, you could select the Easy button and reduce the number significantly.

Word Away - One of twelve Woople puzzle games

The Game

The purpose of the game is to clear the grid of letters.

When valid words are made, the letters disappear and the grid contracts, filling the empty spaces and creating new word opportunities.

Game screen

Word Away challenges your word making skills. Longer words score higher than shorter words.

Words may be made vertically, horizontally, and diagonally.

If you want more of a challenge, select the Easy button and change the difficulty level to Standard.

Here Comes the Duck! - Designed for two-year olds and up - Blind accessible

The Game

The child just slaps the keyboard and an animal appears, its name is spoken, and its sound is made.

The child slaps the keyboard again and gets another animal.

Randomly, the Duck appears, quacking loudly, and chases the other animals away.

The Game

In Letters One, the child hits any letter key and an object appears, its name is spoken, and its sound is made. The sound is displayed in the Closed Caption bar.

In Letters Two, the word is spelled. In Letters Three, the word is spelled and the definition given.

The child hits another letter key and gets another object.

When all the objects have been displayed, the child receives praise.

The Game

The child is presented three to five similar objects and their spoken descriptions.

Three more objects are presented and the child is asked to select the one that completes the above sequence.

When eight successes have been achieved, the child receives praise.
