Is the Game Book required to play a 7-128 Software game?
Yes. The Game Book reduces your download times because it includes items shared by many games. It eliminates several icons from your desktop by organizing our games in one place. And it provides a common user interface among all our games.

What are the minimum computer requirements to run your games?
The minimum system requirements are:
Windows 98, Windows 2000, Windows XP, or Windows Vista
A Pentium 166 mHz or faster processor
At least 256 Mb of RAM
At least 100 Mb of hard disk space
A monitor with at least a 1024 by 768 screen resolution
A CD or DVD reader, if installation is via CD
An Internet connection
Speakers, if the Game Voice is to be used

Do I need a new computer to run your games?
No. The Game Book and all our games run on computers available since 2001.

Do your games run on the Macintosh?
Not at this time.

How do you make it easier for me to play your games?
All games have the Easy button. When you press this button, the game becomes easier. Our Game Throttle slows time based games.

How do I get the Game Book?
1. Go to our Web site, www.7128.com. Select Get Games.
2. When you are asked if you already have the Game Book, answer NO. This displays the page where you order the Game Book via either Electronic Download or on a CD.
3. Choose either Electronic Download, or to have the Game Book mailed to you on a CD. This displays the Shopping Cart, where you confirm or modify your order.
4. At the Shopping Cart, use a credit card to purchase the Game Book. If you chose Electronic Download, tell the Shopping Cart to download the Game Book to your Computer. If you chose to have your Game Book mailed to you on a CD, the Shopping Cart will tell us to do so.
5. When the Game Book arrives, via either Electronic Download or on a CD, install the Game Book.

How do I get more games to add to my Game Book?
1. Go to www.7128.com. Select Get Games.
2. When you are asked if you already have the Game Book, answer YES. This displays the page where you order more games via either Electronic Download or on a CD.
3. Specify which game you want to buy. Choose either Electronic Download, or to have all the games you order mailed to you on a single CD. This displays the Shopping Cart, where you confirm or modify your order, or go Continue Shopping for more games to add to your order.
4. At the Shopping Cart, use a credit card to purchase the games you want. If you chose Electronic Download, tell the Shopping Cart to download EACH game to your Computer.
5. If you chose to have your games mailed to you on a CD, the Shopping Cart will tell us to do so.
6. When the games arrive, via either Electronic Download or on a CD, install them to your computer. See the instructions on this FAQ page.
7. Restart your Game Book. The new games will appear in your Game Book.

How do I get a FREE Popcorn Game to add to my Game Book?
1. Go to www.7128.com and select Get Games.
2. When you are asked if you already have the Game Book, answer YES. This displays the page where you order more games.
3. Go to the bottom of this page. Many Thursdays this Game of the Week is a FREE Popcorn Game.
4. Click on Download this FREE Game. This displays the Shopping Cart. Your total cost should be zero.
5. At the Shopping Cart, enter the shipping information. We do not use this information, but it is required by the electronic shopping cart we use.
6. Tell the Shopping Cart to download the FREE Popcorn Game to your Computer.
7. When the game is done downloading, install it to your computer. See the instructions on this FAQ page
8. Restart your Game Book. The new Popcorn Game will be in the Popcorn Poppper. Pop Popcorn until the new game appears.

Can your games be played by the specially challenged together with the not specially challenged?
Yes. Scoring is normalized. Use the control button to set accessibility options so that the specially challenged can play with the not specially challenged.

Do your games work with the JAWS screen reader?
Yes. The entire Game Book, and all games that are playable by the blind, have been tested with JAWS 6, 7, and 8.

Do your games work with the Window-Eyes screen reader?
No. Neither the Game Book nor any of our games work with Window-Eyes.
However, you can use the FREE onboard 7-128 Software Game Voice to play our games.

What if I don't have a screen reader?
The Game Book includes the Game Voice, a FREE speech synthesizer.

Do your games work with the ZoomText screen magnifier?
Yes. The entire Game Book and all games that are playable by the visually impaired work with ZoomText.

What if I don't have a screen magnifier?
The Game Book and all games use text that is 50% larger than the standard Windows text.
In addition, you can set the Game Book and all games to Big Type, which is double the size of the standard Windows text.
Also, when the Windows High Contrast settings are on, the Game Book and all games use text which is nearly 250% the size of standard Windows text.

Are your games playable by the color blind?
Yes. The entire Game Book and almost all games are playable by the color blind.

Yes. The entire Game Book and almost all games are playable by the deaf. Videos have optional captions.

Do your games work with Dragon Naturally Speaking voice recognition software?
Yes. The entire Game Book and all games that are playable by the Motion Impaired work with Dragon Naturally Speaking.

Do your games require that I press more than one key at a time?
No. All commands use single key strokes. And all buttons have hotkey values that are printed on their button faces.

Why don't you give refunds?
We keep no data about you, including your purchase information. The value to you is the security that you can not be a victim of identity theft, credit card theft, or even spamming due to your purchase at our Web site. The cost to you is that you and we have no way to prove your purchase. An additional benefit is that our No Refund policy helps keep our prices so low that your risk is minimized. We do offer to replace any defective CDs, if you choose to get your games that way.

Why don't you offer technical support by phone?
We are a small company. We ship a lot of games. Phone support costs a lot. If we offered phone support, then we would have to raise our prices. Rather, we work hard to make our games reliable and our installations as simple as possible.

No. Never. We have no banner ads, no product placement ads, not even ads for our own games. You get Simply Entertainment.

Does your installation process modify my computer?
No. We do not change your Registry. We do not change your Java. We do not change your Windows Environment, including your Path. We do not place any hidden files on your computer. We do not schedule tasks on your computer. We do not secretly communicate with any Web site. We put all of our files in one directory tree. We use our own copy of Java, which does not interfere with any copy you may have. We do not modify any assistive technologies you may have installed.

How does the Game Book know when you release a new game?
It doesn't. Our Game Book contains our best estimate as to when each game will be released. When that date arrives, the button for that game changes from "Forthcoming" to "Available". The worst that can happen is that you go to our Web site and we are embarrassed.

Are you a game company for the handicapped?
No. We build computer games that entertain, divert, and educate through good content, ease of use, and low prices. Some of those games are accessible to people with special challenges.

Why aren't all your games ESRB rated?
Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) rating is not required for games that are not sold through physical stores. Also, ESRB ratings cost several thousand dollars per game. This would increase our prices.We simply do not put gratuitous sex or violence into any of our games.
