It also hosted Irish immigrants and a thriving merchant community.
You are a detective with the Newport Police Department.
You travel the streets and mansions of Newport, questioning the high and the low, as you solve crimes.
The world famous police detective, Inspector Cyndi, is on loan to Newport from her home in Vienna, capital of the Austro-Hungarian Empire.
She can help you with advice, and a critique of your efforts.
