FOURTEEN NEW CONTENT-RICH, BLIND ACCESSIBLE COMPUTER GAMES
7-128 Software, is pleased to announce Release 1.2 of its Game Book.
This release improves the Game Book's existing accessibility to people who are blind as follows:
1. It brings to a total of 14, the 7-128 Software games playable by the blind, including 5 FREE Popcorn word games.
2. The new F2 Help is specific to blind players and is in an FAQ format.
The new release has also added FREE downloadable demo versions of the Game Book and all 17 Simply Entertainment games currently available for purchase, 9 of which are playable by people who are blind.
Their new Woople word puzzle game series is also introduced in this release. Word Definitions, one of the 3 new Woople games, is accessible to blind players.
7-128 Software's puzzles games are designed by a college professor who is a puzzle expert. The content-rich story games, including the Inspector Cyndi in Newport mysteries, are designed by a professional actor and a long-time fantasy role game master. All of the games are built by a usability engineer with 30 years of professional experience, including accessibility issues.
7-128 Software's policy of accessibility includes affordibility. The Game Book, which contains 4 games, sells for $25. Additional games cost $5 - $10 each.
All of 7-128's SIMPLY ENTERTAINMENT games run on Windows computers available since 2000. The new release also makes them playable on Microsoft's new Vista operating system. Games are simple to learn and to play, and are Family Friendly. All games have an Easy Button.
The 14 blind-accessible games all work with JAWS 6,7, and 8. There is also a self-contained Game Voice. All have been extensively field-tested by players who are blind.
